Welcome to our journey through the beta testing phase of our Second life environment. Our adventure began as we entered the Bleecker St. loft, where clothes and hats made a promising appearance. However, the kitchen's walls lacked their expected paintings, and while the aquarium was visible, it lacked animation.
In another room, a missing TV and more absent paintings were noticeable. Moving upstairs, the absence of paintings persisted, but the furniture was present. The teleporter, though, was unresponsive upon clicking.
Navigating further, we teleported to the Lost Gardens of Apollo, where the mobile showcase shined. Navigation was smooth, and you could enjoy a 360 degree using the circle on the bottom left of the screen. Clothes appeared intermittently, and a faint hum added to the ambiance. While the experience is functional, there is still plenty of room for improvement.
Only a few mobile-optimized places are available, and there haven't been new experiences added for some time. Heading to a favorite spot, ashram build area., the rendering was slow, but ocean sounds were clear. Running sped up the process, with some rendering occurring after a wait. Not much had changed from previous updates, possibly only behind-the-scenes tweaks.
At the temple, we checked for paintings and encountered someone whose clothes, like ours, weren't visible. Trying the teleporter again eventually brought up the SIT option, but no teleport options appeared.
In summary, the beta is somewhat functional but clearly needs more work. Stay tuned for more updates and see you in the next video!
